    Todo perfecto menos la obligatoriedad de contratar servicio de limpieza,así como su precio,elevado.Un detalle feo:no se entiende que haya que esperar hasta una semana para que devuelvan los 350€ de depósito por si hubiera desperfectos cuando se supone que hay que dejar la casa a las 9 y media de la mañana porque el servicio de limpieza llega a esa hora y en ese momento y día pueden ver que el apartamento ha quedado como nos lo encontramos.En el resto de lugares donde hemos estado se retiene ese depósito,sin llegar a cobrarlo, y se devuelve al desocupar el apartamento y verificar su buen estado.Por lo demás todo ha ido bien,el apartamento estaba muy bien equipado y bien situado. 8.4

    The flat is nicely situated between the port and the old town. We turned left to the port for a lovely morning coffee overlooking the harbour or turned right to walk up hill through the small streets of the town and to the open market on a Thursday morning. If you want easy access to the main sandy beach then you will find it a hike. We managed it once then used the car. Excellent restuarants on the beach area. We were there in January and most were open unlike other resorts. Well equiped kitchen and very clean. Spanish TV which is poor but DVD player so bought some second hand DVDs from across the road in Charity shop. Flat close to cinema which shows English films twice a week for Euro 6 each. Only problem was Spanish plumbing/drains, unpleasant smell in bathroom from drains and no expelair which I thought was a European standard or is it a European standard that only we British adhere too? 6.3

    The location is great if you wish to access the port area. You can buy fresh fish at the local fish market every evening, have a drink at the seafront, go to the lovely grava beach or montanar, all within a five minute walk. If the weather is not perfect for the sea we really enjoyed the possibility to benefit of the inner pool, comprising a jacuzzy and a small pool for kids. There is plenty of shade and grass, even for the hottest hours of the day. Supermarkets and other facilities are at reach. You can really limit driving to the minimum staying at this appartement. We really liked also the possibility to hang our laundry on the attic terrace (they dried quick and with a child that is handy). Stairs are present in the apartment, that was the only flaw. For the rest the place is very well equipped and very nicely decorated. We also enjoyed finding some refreshments at our arrival and a very good supply of towels (including beach ones!) 8.3

    I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you however I would suggest when you are doing an out of hours key service that you make it clear that the keys have to be collected from the office box not the apartments. Apart from that every thing was brilliant 9.6

    El Arenal

    Jávea, also often written in Valencian Xàbia, is an authentic fishing village located in Spain on the Costa Blanca at the most eastern point of the Iberian Peninsula, opposite Ibiza, between Denia and Moraira, about an hour's drive from the airports of Alicante and or Valencia.     General Information Jávea

    The history of Jávea or Xabia (in Valencian), goes back many centuries. The first evidence of the occupation of the area are even 16,000 years old and can be found in the caves of the imposing Montgó mountain in the form of mural drawings. Jávea is divided into three different areas, the old village (El Pueblo), the port (El Puerto) and the area around the sandy beach of Jávea (El Arenal) where most holiday homes can be found. Jávea hasn't changed much in the past centuries and one can still find traditionally built houses around typical Spanish squares.

    The port of Jávea was built in 1871 and the trade was mainly in raisins. After the collapse of this market, the once large port fell into a small fishing port. Later, thanks to increasing tourism, this port was extended to include a marina.

    Beaches of Jávea

    El Arenal (the sandy beach) is the promenade of Jávea. Here you will find many restaurants, cozy bars, shops and some clubs that stay open until the early hours. There are playgrounds for children, volleyball nets and you can rent jet skis and boats. But let's not forget the many other beaches of Jávea: El Pope, Ambolo, La Granadella, Muntanyar and Cala la Sardina.

    The smaller beaches of Jávea consist mainly of pebble and rocky beaches. The beaches of La Grava and Cala Blanca are ideal for practicing water sports such as jet skiing, windsurfing and canoeing. The small bays of Portitxol and Tangó are pebble beaches that are ideal for snorkeling and diving.
